Thanks to Ballislife, LaMelo Ball is on his way to becoming a high school basketball sensation, and there’s no sign of slowing down.

LaMelo Ball, the youngest of the three Ball brothers, made another highlight play. Why is this one different, you ask? Well, this time, it came at the expense of Foothill High School at the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational and is unlike any other move we’ve seen in an organized basketball game.

The Chino Hills sophomore took an inbound pass, pointed at the half-court line (twice!) and tossed up a shot that splashed home.

He drew a couple of oohs-and-aahs as Chino Hills rolled to their 47th-straight win.

Remember how I mentioned there are three brothers in total? The oldest, Lonzo, is currently dominating the Pac-12 with UCLA. He’s averaging 13.7 points and is second in the nation with 8.3 assists a night. The middle brother, LiAngelo, had a 65-point performance — in the same game — that was overshadowed by LaMelo calling his shot.

Don’t forget: he’s only a sophomore.
