The Duke Blue Devils brought in the nation’s best recruiting class according to 247Sports, and Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, and Frank Jackson are the headliners.

Around the NCAA, basketball teams are getting hyped for the start of the season by hosting their Midnight Madness celebrations. Typically, the rosters split up and scrimmage, and dunk contests and three-point shootouts aren’t uncommon.

Countdown to Craziness is the Duke Blue Devils’ version of Midnight Madness, and not only did Tatum and Jackson light it up during the scrimmage, they absolutely killed it with their dance routines.

Tatum, a 6’8 small forward who was ranked fourth nationally, finished with 20 points by knocking down a bunch of mid-range jumpers and a couple of layups.

Battling Tatum was Jackson, and he showed that his biggest asset is his dancing ability, and he’s easily the best dancer in the ACC. On top of that, he’s a pretty decent basketball player and ended his night with 12 points, and showed a nice ability to get to the cup.

Jackson is another of Coach K’s prized recruits, and the 6’3 guard landed behind Dennis Smith, De’Aaron Fox, and Lonzo Ball in the 247’s point guard rankings.

Also take notice of how Grayson Allen is bringing back the short-shorts and helping to spread the trend.
