NBA players aren’t perfect, and Sam Dekker, just like his peers, has hit flaws. After a slip that sent him to the ground, we have an early Shaqtin’ A Fool candidate.
Early in the Houston Rockets‘ game against the New York Knicks, Dekker picked off a pass and had a clear lane to the basket, only to discover a wet spot on the floor–or, at least, that’ll serve as a valid excuse.

It was a spectacular stumble, and the expression on his face shows how much he missed the opportunity that got presented to him.
The folly started with what looked like a travel, and then the ball took an awkward bounce and hit Dekker in his face as he fell to his knees in front of the Madison Square Garden Crowd.
Mike D’Antoni has played Dekker in each of Houston’s four games this season, and the 22-year-old forward from Wisconsin is averaging 13.8 minutes, 5.3 points on 47.4 percent shooting, and 2.3 rebounds.
