The Turkish Government has reportedly issued a warrant for the arrest of Oklahoma City Thunder Enes Kanter.

According to AFP, the warrant comes after Thunder’s 25-year-old center had been accused of a connection to a terrorist group. This is on the heels of Kanter having his Turkish passport revoked while in Romania, and it’s believed that his ongoing criticism of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan — which included a comparison to Adolf Hitler — led to the actions taken against him.

Thankfully, Kanter was able to return to the United States.

With all of this going on, Kanter was able to find humor in the situation. He tweeted out a picture of the Sabah article that covered this event — it even included two laughing emojis just for added effect.

The Bing translation (courtesy of Twitter) says it read like this, “Hahaha 😂😂 don’t you bother to no avail. You can all go to your ugly, hateful faces spitting out already I will come myself.”

AFP reported a more coherent translation, “You cannot catch me. Hahaha. Don’t waste your energy. I am already going to come to (Turkey) to spit on all of your ugly, hate-filled faces.”
