Thursday night, the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets took on each other in a game that saw the Jets come away with a 37-31 win. On one play, Darrelle Revis was blown past by Marquise Goodwin for an 84-yard touchdown, and the never shy J.R. Smith commented on the situation.

To preface that, Revis hasn’t looked stellar through two games this year:

Revis clearly didn’t take his words kindly, and fired back:

Revis: 1, Smith: 0.

Surely this is nothing more than some friendly banter. Revis will undoubtedly be a first ballot Hall of Famer once he hangs up his cleats, and Smith won’t be. Still, both guys are two of the best athletes in the world and proven winners in their respective sports.

Smith would continue, though, telling Revis to “not be sensitive” and use what happened as motivation:

The last thing that was said was a retweet of Michael Smith of ESPN, who tweeted about Revis losing his ability as a lockdown corner.
