Whether you’re a fan of the MLB or not, the Chicago Cubs going to the World Series is a very big deal.
The Cubbies haven’t been to the World Series in 71 years, and CBS This Morning on Twitter overlooked the Chicago White Sox trip to the Fall Classic in 2005–which they won.

Frank Kaminsky of the Charlotte Hornets is die-hard White Sox fan and even came dressed for a preseason game in a custom Steve Bartman jersey. After he scrolled to the tweet on his timeline, it’s safe to say that he was taken aback my the misinformation of CBS:
Funny, I think I've seen one in Chicago before. Can't remember where/when though. My mind must be playing tricks on me https://t.co/YtmISwx735

CBS corrected their mistake by acknowledging that it’s Wrigley Field that hasn’t seen the World Series in 71 years, but it’s always entertaining to see players trolling to a certain degree.
